Consumer-directed and person-centred care combined with the transformation of the sector, call for innovative services and approaches. Innovation and organisational growth go hand in hand. For innovation to succeed it has to become part of our core work.

Course Objectives

By the end of the training program participants will be able to:

  • Define and practice innovation thinking
  • Encourage, harvest and actualise creative and new ideas
  • Support staff to consistently adopt new practice
  • Identify qualities that support and stifle innovation
  • Develop strategies to build an innovation culture in their organisation or team

Target Audience: Managers, Coordinators and Team Leaders

Presenter: Grace Leotta is an organisational, community development and training consultant. She is a Harvard University trained adaptive leadership (leading change) consultant, an internationally certified facilitator and public participation practitioner, a nationally accredited trainer and assessor, an Australasia licensed community engagement trainer, and an accredited social worker.
